during the chekout, the guy from the reception had a strange performance, if I understood him correctly, he asked for my card to charge some additional 190e even though I had already paid everything in advance via booking. when I showed my displeasure, he changed his story and in the end just issued me a bill. I had the impression that he wanted to deceive me.

Good hotel, not ideal for noise and strange bath door.

The room is with very nice sea-view, although the 1st floor is not ideal, but you pay the noise of the frequently passing cars on the "lungomare" with open windows, especially in the evening. Breakfast is excellent. Everything there and good quality.

The double-room is a bit tiny. The bath door, which is also the cupboard door (sliding door) does not stop noise, so it might be a bit uncomfortable.

A pleasant, practical spot to stay near FCO with a nice breakfast and shuttle service arrangements available.

Newly redecorated and very clean. Comfortable beds and a very nice breakfast. Room was white ample by budget European hotel standards. Worked well for four people. Shuttle service to airport arranged by hotel was helpful.

Staff was a little curt and had a little trouble with language, though none of this was really a problem. Also a little farther away from the airport than I realized with traffic. Taxi ride was 45 minutes during rush hour.

Location and the view

While my stay at the hotel was generally pleasant, there were a few aspects that could be improved: 1. Limited breakfast choices, missed egg options. 2. Water available but often ran out. 3. Lack of a hotel restaurant for food orders. 4. Bed comfort fell below expectations. Overall, my stay had some conveniences to improve.

Very Good

We were staying 1 night in Lido after a week in Rome. Location was great, we had a frontal sea view. Very clean room and bath, comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice.

It was the nov 3rd and the bed hat just a simple summer bed cover, we used the extra blanket from the closet but it was not enough bc it was a very stormy night with heavy raining and strong winds and the window wasn't tight enough (anymore?). The curtains were holding the airflow back but the cold was coming through.

Very Good

Room is good size, clean and comfortable. Bathroom is good size, with decent amount of space in shower.

Staff could be better versed with restaurant recommendations & directions. I was told shuttle service would be for myself only at the scheduled time. However, there was another person at the premise that was on the same shuttle. He also stopped by at another hotel to pickup additional person. This could have made me miss or be late for my flight.

Proximity to the water, breakfast was included and good selection, bathroom was modern and clean. Transfer to airport was better value then other options

Clean and nice Rooms

Imposible to get there, taxis from the airport wont take you ( took us 3 hours to figure out) The Shuttle you have to book in advance, we where told in Italian and did not understand. The shuttle was in the airport and did nos want to take us because we did not book in advance and not even offer to help us find a way to the hotel. It was a waste of time and also a very bad experience to arrive in Italy as a tourist.

Very Good

Pretty much everything. Attentive staff, beautiful location right in the sea. Not very practical for a beach holiday as there is nowhere to hang west swimming suits and towels ( windows are tiny and no balconies) but a part from that the rooms are very well designed, good size even the smaller room we had, comfortable beds, and practical furnitures

Very very poor breakfast. The price for the room wasn’t low at all considering the time of the year and for a regular week day. A good breakfast would have made a huge difference.

Perfect.

Great stay with friends and family. Smart, clean hotel directly opposite the beach and and easy walk to the bars and cafes. No balconies to the rooms and the windows don't open, but all air conditioned. Lovely seating areas outside and a great roof top terrace bar (expensive!) with a great view.

It would have been nice to have been able to have a cup of coffee on the roof.

Wonderful

The staff was helpful and nice, The ladies preparing the breakfast were lovely and the breakfast was also very nice. It was self serve and had lots of choices. The room was very clean and had a nice size bathroom. The train station is within walking distance if you wish to go to Rome for a day of touring. Also reasonable train price, can't really remember but just about 3 euro for train. It was close to walk to restaurants and shops.

The sea was nearby, but the area is not really pretty. However, is fine for a short stay. We stayed 2 days and took the train to Rome for a day of touring.

Very nice renovated hotel. Really enjoyed the roof top terrace with view on the water and sunset. Hotel and room was very clean and quiet.

Not much to do in the area. Nice stop for one night to take your flight the next morning

Nice stay! Unfortunate that everyone doesn't know how to work with diverse groups of people.

I loved the location and cleanliness of the room. The location was great right across the street from the beach. I wish I had more time to visit the beach. Our tour took up most of the day, and we stayed in that area for dinner. The person at the desk in the evening was very personable and nice. He was helpful setting up the shuttle. Upon check out he gave us a to go box for breakfast because we were leaving so early. The breakfast was good they offered a variety . Overall I liked this hotel, I just didn't care for the person that checked me in or the dishonesty when it came to the cab.

I had mixed feelings about the staff. At check in the person wasn't very friendly he came off a little aggressive. I asked him if we could get breakfast and immediately he quoted me a price. Later I asked for a cab and he quoted me one price then changed the price. He came across like I couldn't afford neither one. That evening we took a cab back from the same location. It was $25 dollars cheaper so I was taken advantage of.

Great modern hotel

One of the few modern (not from 70s) hotels in Ostia. Perfect location on the first line close to all restaurants and a train station. Really nice rooms and comfortable bed. Staff speaks English and is very friendly. There’s also a private parking available. Rooms are located on the sides so each room have a piece of the sea view. On the 4th floor there’s a big terrace with a bar, so you can watch sunset with planes landing while drinking Prosecco.

If you want to access the beach in the end of September they will charge you 10 eur per person. Taking into account that very little have interest in swimming and all private beaches are empty, the hotel could offer beach access for a reduced price

Very Good

Staff were wonderful and breakfast was great!

We only were provided towels for one person and one of the shower heads was not working and no time to ask staff for assistance. This was not a deal breaker though.
